New Counter Highlight!

With the product innovation „FilouFLixx“, AICHINGER has developed a unique counter module which can be easily and flexibly converted from full-service operation to self-service in no time at all. This highlight will be presented for the first time to the butcher trade audience at the SÜFFA.

With products such as the  glass display counter „SIRIUS SetPoint“, the new counter module „FilouFLixx“ and the round refrigerated counter with air circulation „AirMaxx“, the goods displayed receive a unique sales staging that works for the customer.

AICHINGER @ IBA 2018

Under the motto „FIT FOR FUTURE“, AICHINGER will present innovative ideas for successful bakeries of the future at the iba 2018.

The challenges and opportunities for bakeries in Germany and Europe require new thinking and new concepts. Consumer, shopping and nutritional behavior, health awareness and convenience orientation: the changes are obvious. AICHINGER Managing Director Oliver Blank: "Whether it's a traditional bakery or a bakery chain in competition with food retailing and system gastronomy, the bakery companies have to develop further. Added to this is digitization with new options for store and branch management as well as the combination of stationary business and online shopping. Aichinger "bakery of creativity": What the open view baking area at the bakery is, is the creative studio at the AICHINGER stand. AICHINGER’s creative people show live how tailor-made concepts are created, give first-hand tips and, upon request, even scribble their first ideas down on paper.

Aichinger 100% live: Everything that is shown at the iba is live, real and can be transferred 1:1 to the bakery. Aichinger also provides a full view behind the counter and into the preparation area. This is how success is furnished


ROG wins coveted industry award in the category "Production Technology".

Since 2006, Huber Verlag für Neue Medien has once a year honored particularly advanced industrial products and solutions with the Industry Award.

Awards are given to the most advanced industrial products and solutions in 14 different categories - from drive and fluid technology, research & development via microsystems technology to suppliers. AICHINGER made it in 2018 - The submitted solution "ROG - ROLL`N`GRILL®" was awarded BEST OF at the INDUSTRIEPREIS 2018 in the category "Production Technology". The terms "production technology" refer to processes, measures and equipment for the production of goods as well as the development and construction of machines.

We are very pleased about the coveted award and see the very large market potential that our automatic gastro grill brings with it. EDEKA Kels - Store of the Year 2018

We congratulate our customer EDEKA Kels on their title of „Store of the Year 2018“!

EDEKA Kels was awarded the title of „Store of the Year 2018“, by the German Trade Association (HDE) at the end of January 2018. The prize was awarded during the trade real estate congress in Berlin, which took place at the end of January. After the wonderful implementation of the Markthalle Krefeld (real,-)project, our team from the AICHINER planning office in Haan again succeeded in setting a further highlight into the food retail sector. The market, which had once been the premises of an old machine factory, impressed the jury above all with its accomplished product presentation.  

After the REWE premium market in Munich (Fünf Höfe), which was awarded this title in 2017, EDEKA Kels is now the second AICHINGER customer to be awarded the title of „Store of the Year“, within the last 2 years. We congratulate our customer EDEKA Kels and everyone involved in this amazing project. 


AICHINGER at the Internorga 2018 in Hamburg

A generous helping of inspiration, richly seasoned in atmosphere, a multitude of concept ideas and a pinch of networking.

This year‘s Internorga exhibition concept by AICHINGER is aimed at the group of new generation of operating companies providing gastronomic concepts, as well as bakers and butchers. The young talent from the „wild youth“, work very differently today and make handwork re-experienced and unique. Quality instead of quantity, class instead of mass! The young entrepreneur focuses more on their own history, on sophisticated marketing and especially on the origin and quality of their top-class products. With this storytelling around the operator’s portfolio, they create their own brand and skillfully set themselves apart from the competition. 

In their „Concept Factory“  at this year’s Internorga, AICHINGER shows how the stories surrounding this new generation of operators can be experienced through innovative concept ideas. The shop fittings and with them the atmosphere created by AICHINGER reflects the emotions of this new generation in the sleek design style. The minimalistic and clear design concept deliberately sets the products on display into the spotlight through the overall dark contrast. The design language of AICHINGER Concept Factory in concrete, solid black steel and Nero Assoluto expertly captures the warm cherry wood as a chosen extreme and could usher in a new trend in shop fitting – it definitely does not always have to be oak! 

In the presentation area for goods, top-class, glass showcases and backlit counter fronts with 3D effects underline the product’s staging. And visible from a distance, a display cabinet for dry aged beef highlights this trend in the butchery section.  Opposite, a 4 meter high wall, tiled in Nero Assoluto with an open rigato rock surface directs the guest’s attention to the display of delicate cakes and the impressive coffee bar at the center of the stand. In a minimum of space, a maximum live cooking experience with integrated outgoing air – this trend is served by the AICHINGER innovation ROG - ROLL´N´GRILL using clever, modern snack concepts which are presented to the public via live demonstrations. The ROG is a ready to plug in single unit for automatically grilling meat, fish and vegetables and is based on three rotating, horizontally arranged and uniformly heated frying surfaces. Aichinger mourns Dr. Hans-Georg Rummler

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our President and CEO, Dr. Ing. Hans-Georg Rummler.

He died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 61 during the night of the 5th to the 6th of January. He leaves behind his wife and two sons.

Dr. Hans-Georg Rummler joined Aichinger in July 2014 as Chairman of the Management Board and previously worked in responsible executive positions in various, larger companies. The sudden death of Dr. Hans-Georg Rummler has deeply shocked the management and all employees at Aichinger. His passing leaves behind a large hole in our company.

"We are shocked and very saddened by the sudden death of Dr. Rummler. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family and his relatives," says Günther Hertel, owner of Aichinger.

Together with Mogunita and other strong partners we´re able to present to you a well-rounded snack concept with many practical examples. This year’s concept captured once more the attention of our visitors. It encompassed state of the art lighting, modern yet inviting furniture design and innovative products that not only guarantee a perfect display but also encourage sales. At the same time our products came with our well know thought trough solutions for maintenance and cleaning, as well as with versatility to fit the needs of our customers. 

We´re thankful for the exciting and productive time we had at this year’s fair in Stuttgart and are already eagerly waiting for the next year and upcoming fairs.

FOOD ON STAGE at EuroShop 2017!

Under this motto, the AICHINGER Exhibition Stand (Hall 13, Stand A75) awaits visitors with concentrated design and shopfitting competence.

In addition to harmonious design solutions, AICHINGER presents many new product innovations at the EuroShop such as the SetPOINT cooling module. This exclusive counter module with the low glass top visually resembles a jeweller’s showcase and allows for a high quality display of goods (for example, dry aged beef).

What’s more, the multi-award winning refrigeration unit SIRIUS®3 further evolves and delights with a multitude of new features. The FreshMaxx self-service salad bar has also undergone a complete refresh and will be presented at the EuroShop for the first time to industry professionals.

New in AICHINGER’s range are the specially constructed climate display cases for the backstage area (product name: Backstage cool) and for a counter progression (product name: Frontline cool). Of course, the first circular circulating air refrigeration counter and top seller AirMaxx can also be seen at the AICHINGER stand.

As a revolutionary device for the gastronomy sector, AICHINGER is introducing their newly developed roll grill, ROLL’N’GRILL (short: ROG) to the public via show cooking. ROG is a ready-to-plug-in single unit for the automated grilling of meat, fish and vegetables and is based on three rotating, horizontally arranged and uniformly heated frying surfaces. The product is laid in from the top and passes through the grilling area at an even speed. It then automatically leaves the grill area and is ready to serve. The operation of the ROG is fully intuitive and can also be easily carried out by inexperienced personnel. In addition to all these new products, visitors will also discover a number of large and small, new innovations at our 330 m² exhibition stand.
