The purpose of the data processing by the party responsible and third parties
We process your personal data only for the purposes stated in this data protection statement. Your personal data are not transmitted to third parties for any other purpose than those stated. We transmit your personal data only to third parties, if:

  • You have given your express consent to this,
  • processing thereof is necessary to perform a contract with you,
  • processing thereof is necessary to comply with a legal obligation,

processing thereof is necessary to pursue legitimate interests and there is no reason to suppose that you have an overriding legitimate interest in non-transmission of your data.

Erasure or locking of the data
We have follow the principles of data avoidance and data minimization. We therefore store your personal data only for the time required to achieve the stated purposes or for the various retention periods prescribed by the law. If one of the purposes ceases to apply or the retention periods expire, the data in question are routinely locked or erased in accordance with the legal requirements.

Collection of general information on visiting our website
If you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected in a cookie. None of this information enables conclusions to be drawn about you as an individual.

This enables data, sessions, and interactions to be assigned to a pseudonym user ID applicable to multiple devices so that the activities of a user can be analyzed across devices. Google Analytics uses so-called Cookies, text files that are stored on your computer and that enable analysis of your use of the website. The information about use of this website generated by the cookie is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address is first truncated by Google within the member states of the European Union or other treaty states of the European Economic Area agreement. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a server in the USA by Google and truncated there. The IP address communicated by your browser under Google Analytics is not combined with other data by Google. The data transmitted by us and associated with cookies, user identifiers (e.g. user IDs) or advertising IDs are automatically erased after 14 months. Erasure of data, the retention period of which has elapsed, is performed automatically once per month. Browser add-on for deactivating Google Analytics
The browser add-on for deactivating Google Analytics provides the website visitor with more control over which data on the websites called are collected by Google Analytics. The add-on tells JavaScript (ga.js) of Google Analytics that no information about the website visit should be transmitted to Google Analytics.

Social plugins 

On our websites, social plugins of the providers stated below are used. You can recognize the plugins by the fact that they are labeled with the logo of the provider. Via these plugins, information, which may include personal data, may be transmitted to the service provider and used by that provider. We prevent undisclosed and unwanted collection and transmission of data to the service provider with a 2-click solution. To activate a desired social plugin, it must first be activated by clicking the relevant button. Collection of information and transmission thereof to the service provider is not initiated until the plugin has been activated in this way. We ourselves do not collect personal data by means of social plugins or use thereof.

We have no influence on which data an activated plugin collects and how these data are used by the provider. At present, it must be assumed that a direct connection to the services of the provider is made and that at least the IP address and device-related information are collected and used. It is also possible that service providers may attempt to store cookies on the computer used. You can read the specific data that are collected and how these are used in the data protection information of each service provider. Note: If you have logged on to Facebook at the same time, Facebook can identify you as a visitor of a certain page.

Conversion tracking with the Facebook Pixel conversion tracking software
With your consent, we use the "Pixel" conversion tracking from Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) on our website. With its help, we can track the actions of users after they have seen a Facebook advertisement. In this way, we can measure the effectiveness of the Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous for us, which means we cannot see the personal data individual users. Data protection statement on the use of a XING button
This website uses the "Share button" of XING. Consequentially, when this website is called via your browser, a link is made to the servers of XING AG, Gänsemarkt 43, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. This provides the Share functions (e.g. display of the counter value). Your personal data relating to calling this website is not stored. In particular, XING does not store IP addresses. Your user behavior is not evaluated either. Use of Instagram
We use the Instagram service on our website. Instagram is a service of Instagram Inc. With the "Insta" button included on our page, Instagram provides the information that you have called via the page of our Internet presence. If you are logged onto Instagram, Instagram can connect your visit to our page with our Instagram account and therefore combine the data. The data transmitted when you click the "Insta" button are stored by Instagram.
