E-Center Kreuzberg in Koblenz
The owner's visions and their exemplary realisation.
Konrad Kreuzberg, the owner of the 3.800 sqm E-Center, opened up in Koblenz in October 2007, is a visionary. He lives the philosophy of EDEKA and is fully committed to the EDEKA sales concept. In this regard he is a pioneer with clear visions that he strongly follows with his first EDEKA shop already and now with the big new E-Center in the same way. The topics freshness, quality and transparency are core to this concept.
The AICHINGER expert Ingolf Weiershaus became responsible for planning and realisation. AICHINGER was assigned to do a turn-key planning for the whole fresh products section and equip it with superior counter technology. No question: Especially this section has to transport EDEKA's key message "Total freshness" effectively.
Thanks to the close cooperation between Mister Kreuzberg and the competence group of AICHINGER like we-shoplight, the expert for lighting design, a fresh food section within the E-Center was born that can be considered as second to none.
Huge portals flashing in striking colours invite to the different sections. The performing SIRIUS® counters with automatic rinsing system mark highlights. Carefully arranged MaxxPoint modules work as promotional stoppers. Sparkling glass mosaics upgrade the walls. Giant fish, cheese and sausage dummies give a smart look and guide the clients in the shop. An integrated cooking station satisfies a sudden feel of hunger.
However the main attraction is something else: The whole shop design is not only spacious. It is also open, clear and transparent. The customer has a clear insight into the working and preparation zones. Even the view of the cooling chamber for cheese is easily possible. Thus the consumers perceive at first glance how clean everything is and how fresh everything is prepared. Second it provides confidence and the conclusion is that the customers adopt the E-Center in an outstanding way.
