Sophisticated cooling technology stands for top level quality.
Cold cuts, sausages and ham of top quality: That is what the delicatessen butchery "Der Ludwig" has been standing for since its foundation in 1897. Not for nothing the magazine "Der Feinschmecker" elected it to the "Top level butchers in Germany".
Excellence in freshness and quality was crucial when the decision was taken to modernise the 20 years old main outlet with regard to style and technology. However the master butcher Dirk Ludwig and his wife Christine wanted to clearly show a long success story.
The AICHINGER architect Andreas Martius let the shop concept follow the motto "tradition". Thus the interior design shows aspects of the past and the rural idyll. The company Bauch & Partner accounted for part of it.
Even though the Ludwig family considers a face-lift for their shop as highly important what they really expected from AICHINGER was the most advanced cooling technology to exceed existing quality standards also in the future. With a display counter SIRIUS® contact from AICHINGER these perceptions were completely fulfilled. The counter has a very efficient dual-circuit lift-up cooling system. Thus the air circulation becomes extremely slow covering the goods with a dense cooling veil. The appetising look of the goods stays. Drying up and loss in weight of the goods are avoided.
Also with this project AICHINGER was responsible for coordinating all crafts. Besides the SIRIUS® contact a GOURMET® hot counter was chosen. The rear wall equipment was perfectly adapted to the customer's workflow. The clou was a specific master's work place where the senior Bernd Ludwig practises besides the counter in his shop. So the Ludwig family conveys to its customers continuity and reliability with regard to consistent product quality day by day.
