Purple, plush and delicious chocolate

The "Alte Dompost" already had a vivid past as a baronial guest house, governmental seat, residential house - when the latest user, the German Post, abandoned the building in 2003. Stephan Greindl moved in the ground floor partially and opened up a café and a chocolate manufacture.

The customers can experience a gorgeous spectacle as from the Arabian Nights - Plush seats go with black fabric wallpapers, turquoise back rests with golden chandeliers, baroque forms with Indian style. Greindl gets enthusiastic about playing different forms, colours and materials in the differently designed rooms. The caterer with affection for extraordinary spaces - operating several cafés at Passau and also the "Café Diwan" in the eighth floor of the Passau Tower - did not leave anything to chance when furnishing the rooms and cared very much about decorating the spaces to the smallest detail. The design team of AICHINGER representative Stefan Jugel was responsible for concept and planning.

Very straight with no thrills - that is what AICHINGER's individually designed counters bring across:
clear lines, an excellent choice of materials and a premium finish count for a special elegance. The timeless forms fit perfectly in a harmonious ensemble - a perfect stage for delicious pastry and chocolate specialities. "Stefan Jugel adopted my concept right on the spot and combined the equipment chosen by me with the adequate AICHINGER counter lines. He made it appear a coherent ensemble and a real highlight. Simply the best." - says Stephan Greindl concerning the cooperation with AICHINGER.

In the Café "Stephan's Dom" the customers let themselves be seduced with coffee and pastry delights enjoying an outstanding ambiance. In the chocolate manufacture premium quality chocolates are produced and sold - a true paradise for chocolate fans.
