Freshly baked: That's how baker Münzel launched a new brand.

Successful entrepreneurs know it well: An expressive brand stands for quality and fosters trust. The strategic value of a strong brand mission is a must according to  Karl-Heinz Münzel, the owner of the bakery Münzel with its multiple subsidiaries in Allgäu. This already shows the clear focus of Münzel's brand profile.

In order to position himself in the bakery-café market Karl-Heinz Münzel came out with the idea to create another brand underneath his family brand; including a brand name, a logo and all to go with it. At that moment in time he contacted the AICHINGER representative Gerold Längle who over many years already has been given advice to the bakery Münzel with many realised projects.

Following a combined development process where the owner Münzel set the decisive course, a convincing solution has been produced: the new brand name "BrotZeit" that is used especially for bigger bakeries-cafés having a seating zone of 15 seats and more. The brand claim is "Bakery culture in the coffee house".     

As a pioneer the first bakery-café "BrotZeit" opened up in June 2008 in Lindenberg/Allgäu. The premises, a large shop floor, belonged to a car dealership before. The huge glass front and the location at a very busy arterial road are clear factors for success. In addition there is a strong external impact and a sophisticated concept inside.

The main point of interest for customers who want to buy Münzel?s high-quality bakery goods are the AICHINGER ARTline® counter of almost 5 m length and wood zebrano design and the Panevari® bread shelf. There is a seating zone for about 30 persons. Delicious pastries are offered together with fine Italian coffee Lavazza.

From the parquet-type laminate floor via the lighting concept done by we-shoplight to the large-format screen and the café-fountain designed by a local artist: The bakery-café "BrotZeit" stands for convincing up-to-date brand values that can be easily transferred to other locations.
