The history of the Traublinger family, proprietors of the Traublinger Bakery with its long and rich tradition for four generations now, is a true success story. With currently 24 shops, the strong chain store company counts as one of the leading bakeries of the region in and around Munich.
A long time ago the traditional bakery established a branch in the Perlach Shopping Arcades (PEP), which, as the largest shopping center in the southeast area of Munich, is an important crowd puller. With a new layout and complete renovation, the Traublinger Bakery and its partner AICHINGER created an attractive shopping and café experience. "The Traublinger" in the basement of the PEP has succeeded in becoming an extraordinary and communicative attraction in the arcades and galleries.
Annemarie Traublinger: "We see the concept as an invitation: the perfect interaction of sophisticated design from the furnishings down to the finest detail, of materials, color scheme, and lighting, creates a feel-good atmosphere. Our specialty shop, with its convincing presentation of an extensive range, is a meeting point for our customers, a place to come for the experience and taste. Thanks to the cordial and friendly service and expert advice it has become a place of relaxation and well-being to which customers are happy to return."
AICHINGER consultant Georg Oberloher, who accompanied the renovation from planning to turnkey handover, summarized: "This location had very strong sales in the bread and baked goods categories even before the renovation. The challenge was to integrate a café into the same area without losing any of those sales. The result: sales have increased by over 20 %."

The trusting and dependable working relationship that developed between Traublinger bakery and AICHINGER while working together on the current project in PEP has been crowned with success.
