A Butcher Shop like a Made-to-Measure Suit
At the beginning of April 2011, butcher Axel Geiser, one of the "best Butcher's Shops in Germany " ("The Gourmet", 2010), opened his fourth branch in Schönach near Stuttgart. In addition to outlets in Weil, Dettenhausen and Oberaichen, owner Axel Geiser is thus further expanding his business and continuing his success.
The modernly designed shop radiates a freshness, brightness and friendliness as well as meeting the latest standards in energy efficiency, technology and hygiene. Tiles (with the exception of the flooring) were despensed with, instead wood and a stone-look create an inviting atmosphere. Bright greens also ensure a fresh wind in the shop, the SIRIUS refrigerated counter with the support-free ARTline glass showcase allows a perfect view of the products.
The rear wall: both functional and individual
For the presentation of wares in the rear area, Aichinger consultant Lars Düde has integrated a horizontal system of tracks, which are actually more at home in clothing stores. In addition to the particlarly creative tone here, a flexible display of products has been made possible: rails, hooks, glass boards, suspension arms and suspension devices can be attached anywhere to the rail. So instead of trousers, shirts and ties, now fine smoked meats, salami, sausages and ham can be perfectly displayed.
A More Extensive Lunch Menu
In addition to the classics such as "Leberkäsbrötchen", there are two different daily lunch specials for customers to choose from. Optimaly presented in the special form of the food consumption counter GOURMET: AICHINGER consultant Lars Düde and his team at the planning office in Buchenbach, designed this counter section in an optimal ratio of width and depth so that in the rear the vegetables and side dishes can be placed and at the front, the respective dishes are presented. The staff always has all the food within reach, and the 14 seats in the inner area can be utilized easily.
"Nevertheless, this shop is not "right off the hanger", "consultant Lars Düde, "but rather can be much more compared to a fine tailored suit." Design, technology and furnishings have been tailored to the needs of butcher Geiser. The result: "From our perspective, it has become a really beautiful shop now," said Axel Geiser.
