42 running meters of fresh product presentation and an innovative consumption area.

The tills are ringing in the new EDEKA centre Paschmann in Mühlheim - during the opening the shop even had to close several times because of being full. EDEKA?s pioneer Heinz Wilhelm Paschmann doubled the surface area and tripled the product range. The customers got enthusiastic about the exciting shopping atmosphere and many new customers are heading for the new EDEKA centre. The result: The EDEKA centre Paschmann nowadays belongs to the most frequently visited retail outlets in Germany - even though there is close neighbouring competition.

An impressive glass front strikes you from outside; inside you will find the spacious, open layout to be continued: curved forms, straight shelf lines and a few large-size photos turn the product into a star. Unneeded bits and pieces have been avoided consistently.       

Paschmann?s motto "The art of eating - when shopping becomes aesthetic" you can experience even with the counters. On a length of nice 42 meters the customer can have everything: be it fish or meat, sausage or cheese or Mediterranean specialities. And in a coherent design concept that clearly brings across the message of freshness and helps the customer to easily find his way. Retailing expert Paschmann appreciates the automatic cleaning and hygiene system available with the SIRIUS®plus counter "Thus we do not need to empty the counters overnight."

Besides the huge service counter conceiving the consumption area "Culino" was a specific challenge: A minimum surface space and a maximum ceiling height of more than 7 meters were turned into a premium overall concept offering space for 25 people. "Culino" and Paschmann stand for freshness and high quality and are below the most innovative gastronomic concepts in Germany.  

The opening proofed the cooperation between Paschmann and AICHINGER consultant to be a full success ? and will soon be continued when expanding Paschmann?s branch in Düsseldorf.
