"This has turned into a wonderful shop," says a pleased Konrad Pfister, manager. "We are very pleased with it." After seven weeks of renovation the shop from Sutter Begg in Basel shines with new lustre. Under the direction of AICHINGER consultant Gerold Längle, the café and shop were combined in one spacious room that reflects the transparency and orientation towards skilled handiwork of the traditional family establishment.
Bright wood tones and colourful red accents characterize the atmosphere. The support-free ARTline counter is a perfect setting for the handmade bread and baked goods of the traditional family business. At the adjoining bar one can look comfortably over the craftsman's shoulder and watch him at his work. Coffee can also be ordered "to go" of course - everything else is served at the customer's seat, since the new shop also extends an invitation to lunch in addition to the "Zmorge" and "Zvieri." The diversified meals or brunch on the weekend are well-received by young and old - and, as if that weren't enough, there is even a children's corner for the little ones.
