2006

  • Expansion of the wide spectrum of services with new products and services.
  • Addition to the group of companies in the form of Kuchler (expertise in stainless steel) and Hanke (high-quality refrigerated display counters for family butchers).
  • This means that customers can make their selection from an even more comprehensive range of products and services and can order even more individual total packages to fit their requirements.
  • Systematic strengthening of the international business through increased cooperation with authorised AICHINGER sales partners and development of AICHINGER foreign subsidiaries.

2005

  • New establishment as AICHINGER GmbH with new logo.
  • Further expansion of areas of business through strategic partnership with KIESEL Systemtechnik (commercial kitchens and equipment for rail vehicles ) and Gastronom (service and maintenance for commercial kitchens). A gathering of expertise now occurs which is unique within the sector, doing full justice to increasing overlap between sectors which were separated in the past (bakers, butchers, restaurants etc.).
  • Customers receive high-level total solutions from one provider.

2004

  • Majority shareholding in the company we-shoplight in order to expand the product offering with innovative light concepts and lighting systems.
  • Our company celebrates its 100th anniversary.
  • Ongoing expansion of the interior architecture and design department into one of the largest architect and planning consultancies in this sector in Europe. As a result, implementation of large-scale projects in traffic hubs and shopping centres, as well as for the "theme restaurant" sector is becoming increasingly important.
  • With the motto "Shops for success" AICHINGER emphasises that in the world of modern shopfitting, creation of authentic overall concepts which go far beyond mere manufacture and installation of equipment is the really vital factor.

2000

  • Expansion of the following business areas:
    Design, planning and implementation of equipment for the entire food area (bakeries, confectionery and cake shops, cafés, butchers', fish and delicatessen shops, restaurant and snack bar areas); for the non-food sector (bookshops, clothing retailers, opticians, chemists); for hotels and restaurants and for large-scale projects (railway stations, airports, shopping centres, food courts, market halls, department stores).
  • Expansion of the sales network, in order to present in all the relevant markets.

1998

  • New establishment as AICHINGER MP Einrichtungsbau GmbH, with headquarters in Wendelstein.

1997

  • Integration of Maier + Pistor + Bröcker, Munich, Kassel, Haan, and therefore enlargement of the business areas covering butchers' and bakers' shops.

1995

  • Takeover by Günther Hertel.
  • Comprehensive restructuring to achieve state-of-the-art organisational and production processes; continuation of the company as AICHINGER Einrichtungsbau GmbH, with headquarters in Wendelstein.

1994

  • In keeping with our efforts to successfully structure and streamline our enterprise, the window and façade divisions are sold.

1993

  • We centralise our production facilities in Wendelstein to increase the efficiency of our manufacturing processes and give them the benefit of valuable synergies.

1990

  • Integration of the Orschler company of Stockstadt lets us provide fitting out solutions for the textile industry.

1989

  • We incorporate the NAX company of Frankfurt
  • This enables us to expand our offers to include retail interiors for butcher shops, delicatessens, restaurants and bistros.

1965

  • Addition of a subsidiary in the metalworking industrie enables the company to considerably increase its spectrum of services. It now offers display windowcases with aluminium windows as well as façade construction.
  • A new production site is established in Wendelstein the same year.

1925

  • By this time, Aichinger's craftsmanship is well known and his company solidly run. It provides all necessary fittings and equipment for bakeries, coffee houses and cafés.

1904

  • Johann Aichinger founds his joinery in Wendelstein, laying the foundation for our present-day business.
